Gegenstand der vorliegenden Arbeit ist die Entwicklung und numerische Optimierung eines mehrstufigen induktiven Erwärmungskonzepts für das ressourceneffiziente Schmieden von komplexen Bauteilen, anhand des Beispiels einer zweizylindrigen Kurbelwelle.
Ein Schwerpunkt der Arbeit konzentriert sich auf die Durchführung eines induktiven Erwärmungsprozess zur Re-Homogenisierung der Prozesstemperatur innerhalb der teilgeschmiedeten Kurbelwellen nach Beendigung der gratfreien Vorumformungsschritte. Die Kompensation der inhomogenen Temperaturverteilung bildet die Voraussetzung, um in einem anschließenden multidirektional auszuführenden Umformschritt die Belastungen für das Umformwerkzeug zu minimieren.
