A very lovely watercolor still life of artfully arranged cherries with green leaves and green bowl, not fancy, but managing to feel quite elegant and just right.  So often I'll spot a nice old watercolor still life glued to a very badly stained and aged mat and just not want to mess with it, but this is just right as it is, I wouldn't touch a thing, and it feels like it would hold its own in most any context. 

Framed: 15 1/2" x 10 1/2".  Watercolor 10 3/4" x 5". C. 1910s or so. Good condition, better and more luminous than my photos. A few minor stains to mat, to which the watercolor appears adhered, but not at all detracting. Small dings to a couple of the far corners of the frame, as documented. Wired on black for hanging.
