A refined expression of Brazilian Modern design, this set of eight dining chairs was crafted in Brazil in the 1960s and executed in richly figured solid caviúna—a prized native hardwood celebrated for its depth of tone and dramatic grain movement. The frames are defined by clean architectural lines and subtly tapered legs, balancing structural clarity with sculptural restraint.

Newly rewoven cane backrests introduce lightness and artisanal texture, creating a striking contrast against the density of the caviúna. The seats have been reupholstered in a muted sage chenille with a greyed celadon undertone—an understated, architectural green that complements the warmth of the wood while maintaining a sophisticated, contemporary presence. The chenille’s soft hand enhances comfort without compromising the disciplined modernist silhouette.
