Deep dark in glass with gorgeous aromas of blue fruit, pie crust and a touch of coconut husk. On the palate the rich texture combines well with the full-bodied tannins and ripe plum and cassis flavors. Layers of fruit intertwine with subtle secondary flavors of briar, cigar box and touch of graphite minerality. This red is thick and sinewy in leather, smoky oak and spice. Full bodied and robust in style, it weaves between black pepper and blackberry with ease, showing a wide appeal.  Subtle nose of red fruits, a hint of milk chocolate and a touch of parsley. On the palate intense plums, strawberries and briar rush across the palate. As the wine opens up, blueberry notes become evident. The tight acidity helps maintain the structure of the wines which balanced against moderate tannins drive the finish. Pure, well rounded and delicious.
