BlackInk platforms artists, writers, poets, illustrators and photographers from across the African and African Caribbean Diaspora and indigenous communities—both in print and with the digital content created to sit alongside this physical magazine. 

This sixth issue, themed ‘Intersection: Diasporic Dialogues’, is dedicated to the plurality of Black and Diasporic identity and explores ‘the creativity, collaboration and contrast that emerges when two different paths cross’. Marking a divergence from the singular focus of previous issues, this edition takes a broader look at the role representation and policy play in shaping Black British arts, with a particular accent on movement as a powerful tool that defies the limitations of language.
