The Dark Clear Skies Large Reinforced Dovetail Groove is designed to provide a strong and stable mounting interface for astronomical telescopes and accessories. Manufactured from aluminium alloy and reinforced with dual fixing bolts, it is well suited for larger equatorial mount and gimbal plate applications requiring rigidity and reliability.

Vixen-Standard Dovetail Profile

The reinforced dovetail groove is machined to a 75-degree narrow rail profile, compatible with Vixen-standard mounting systems. It is suitable for use with large gimbal plates and equatorial mounts commonly used in astronomical telescope setups.

Reinforced Dual-Bolt Fixing

Two primary fixing bolts provide a secure mechanical connection, improving overall stability and resistance to movement once installed. This reinforced design is intended to maintain alignment under load during visual observing or imaging use.
