The AW Metpress copper slip repair coupling features a lip at either end of the fitting. The lips help align the actual press areas along the copper pipes and provide extra sealing material when pressed. The black sealing ring is made of EPDM O-ring for portable water applications with a temperature range of -20 - 110 °C and a maximum pressure rating of 1600kPa.

The AW slip repair coupling features a straight through copper body, as opposed to the standard straight coupling which has an inbuilt stopper in the center. This design means the fitting can slide freely across the copper pipes as needed. It is perfect for repair jobs on existing plumbing works, where a standard straight coupling can not perform the same duty.

The AW Metpress copper press fittings have a slug fit over the copper pipes and will remain in place until the press tool is applied, allowing easy installations and adjustments. Once pressed and secured by the correct press tool, the fitting will not dent or deform the internal copper to ensure unhindered water flow. These features have made the AW copper press systems a faster and safer connections to conventional compression or capillary systems.
