A very charming example of a Victorian "forget me not" I think--constructed like a shadow box, sealed forever with glass over top. This one combines paper, cloth and real dried flowers and sprigs in the wreath at center, with scallop edged gold foil surrounding that, and what looks to me to be a very carefully hand-lettered "a remembrance" at center. The red on the corners appears to comes from being painted on the underside of the glass. With heavy, green hand-printed paper over card on the underside.

5 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 1/2". Good condition, sound and stable and very charming.
